If I’m not missing something big, Diptyque sells in China (has for some time, according to this article https://jingdaily.com/diptyque-secret-china/). I had a Nordstrom salesperson confirm this to me, and their website lists Chinese stores as well. Is there a rule that would exempt them from testing there?

In reply to Sinem. They are cruelty-free. Thier wording is confusing, but what they are saying is that they sell only via e-commerce, which does not require animal testing, because selling in stores would mean that they are not cruelty-free.

Hi! Perricone MD is in your cf list but in this statement taken from their web site, they say that their products are tested in China. Dont they?

‘Perricone MD does not test on animals nor do we believe in the practice. We are one of many beauty brands that are sold internationally including in China and you may be aware that the Chinese government tests imported wholesale cosmetics by law, but products ordered from Perricone MD and shipped directly from us to our customers throughout the world are not tested on animals. Some of the products’ ingredients are not considered vegan in case this is a related concern. ‘
