I do not know why and am unable to speak for brands or for Leaping Bunny. I don’t believe that I have ever seen BECCA or Anastasia on the Leaping Bunny website though. A brand being removed from the list does not necessarily mean that they are no longer cruelty-free. It could mean that the brand chose to not renew their partnership with Leaping Bunny. There are many brands that are cruelty-free but have not gone through the Leaping Bunny process. Sadly, not all brands see the value.

Does that mean they are no longer cruelty free? Otherwise why would they be taken off the LB list? Sorry I only trust Leaping Bunny, because when I’ve contacted companies such as Tarte asking them to be on the LB list they assured me they were in the process of it, but that was 1 1/2yrs ago… so it has made me suspicious that perhaps these companies tell you what you want to hear. What are your views on this?
