They changed to this stance about a year ago. When I have talked to them, specifically about them saying the statements were to be removed from packaging, they have told me that they are removing them from packaging but their stance is not changing. 🙁 I just talked to a higher up again a couple of days ago to confirm, and things haven’t changed.

They told me that their official stance is that they have removed the statements from their packaging and don’t test their finished products on animals. They would not speak to testing during production or of ingredients. When I asked if removing the statements from their packaging meant that they were no longer going to allow testing as required by law to take place, they repeated that their official stance is just that they are removing the statement from packaging. So, to me, this puts them in the same place they have been in for about a year. I still wouldn’t consider them CF.
