Do you have an update on Hawaiian tropic? I noticed their facial spf says reef safe and their website says no animal testing on products or ingredients and no sale in countries which do test.

I was checking Hawaiian Tropic and saw somewhere that they’re cruelty-free and then found them here on the list on brands to avoid. Therefore, I had to recheck and found on PETA website that they do NOT test on animals. https://crueltyfree.peta.org/company/hawaiian-tropic-playtex-products/
It also says on their website they’re PETA-certified (but I did check PETA’s website after all)

But, now on some other website I saw they also listed HT as a brand that does test on animals, so I’m confused.

Hawaiian Tropic is now cruelty free and avoids selling where animal product testing by-laws are required.

Girl, first of all I am IMPRESSED with the work you have put into this. Honestly, thank you so much! You have made my transition into vegan/cruelty free products a thousand times easier. I’m also transitioning from getting my hair treated all the time to wearing it naturally curly and finding new hair care (that works) has been a nightmare. I’ve been hearing AMAZING things about one brand called CurlSmith, and they advertise vegan and cruelty free and organic/natural, etc. It seems like sites all across the board are vouching that this is true, but I wonder how many are going by what’s advertised.. you state on your site you actually reach out to the brands and look into their practices. I was wondering if you’d heard of the brand and know anything about it? I’d love to see it listed! Much love. 🙂
