Thank you for updating this list, Tashina! Do you know if the Smashbox brushes are vegan? The Smashbox website says they’re made with synthetic fibers but just want to check that they aren’t using any animal-derived ingredients in the adhesive, etc. Thanks!

Was checking their website this weekend and the Primerizer is listed as being vegan! I never checked their website prior to seeing your post – so I don’t know if that’s a new thing. Was hoping maybe you had some background on it 🙂

Thanks Tashina and Smashbox! Was really hoping their eye shadows ( esp the matte full exposure palette) was vegan but maybe in the future it will be! Really impressed the waterproof mascara is vegan!

Hi Tashina! Thank you for all your hard work that you put in your blog, instagram and youtube! I’ve been vegetarian my whole life but I’ve been transferring to 100% cruelty-free, vegan living for a year now but still I keep finding out about new products that I have to change. It’s been a lot easier since I discovered your website and I wanted to let you know how great I think it is and that I’m really thankful 🙂 I really love what you’re doing and I recommend your website to all my friends, even non-vegans searching for cruelty-free options.

I wanted to ask you also if you could give some recommendations for vegan and cruelty free face essences? Because I got really into them, I wasn’t buying any but making my own but I recently find out that the shop that I was buying ingredients from is not cruelty-free or at least it’s not confirmed being cruelty-free. But everytime I try to search “vegan essence” google shows the articles about if make-up brand essence is vegan, so it’s not very helpful.
