Hey Liliana – I have the exact same problem with both eyeliners and mascaras. Have you tried Blinc mascara? It’s a tubing type so it can’t smudge. The Blinc company is listed on Tashina’s cruelty-free list. I’ve actually bought a Blinc mascara, but I haven’t used it yet… Maybe you can let us know if it works well for you.

From my understanding, it’s only the cosmetic products that are sold in brick’n’mortar stores within China that require animal testing. There are some cruelty-free cosmetics companies that allow shipping to China from their online store, but do not sell their products in the physical stores in China, and therefore do not require animal testing. (That’s my understanding – please correct if I’m wrong, thanks!)

Being relatively new to cruelty free, I always get intimidated in shops trying to figure out what I can/can’t use! It’s fab to have a handy guide.

I’ve tried a few different brands since I’ve switched, but nothing has held a curl very well. I was hoping you would have some recommendations.

Pretty sure it’s vegan. I certainly hope so since my holy grail Glam Natural brand doesn’t seem to be in business anymore. I’m running out of brands to try that don’t dry out in a week or make my eyes burn!

That’s correct! Animal testing is only required on items sold there, but not made there.
