I think that this is a really good analogy to use. Especially since not everyone has the privilege to pick which phone they purchase. Some people just need a phone and are doing the best in their own situation. Often when people do have a choice, they factor in a variety of things and often let the brand know what’s influenced their decision.

In these cases, I think it’s important to always let the brands know why you do or don’t support them, and what factors impact that. Whether you purchase from them or not, they don’t know if you don’t tell them. And it’s important for brands to see that being cruelty-free matters to their customers. Otherwise, why stay cruelty-free?
