There are three different Marc Jacobs brands, each owned by other companies. The clothing line, fragrance line, and makeup line are all their own entities. The makeup brand, Marc Jacobs Beauty, is cruelty-free. Marc Jacobs Fragrances tests on animals, sadly. Marc Jacobs clothing is a completely other company too.

Why Marc Jacobs is in this -cruelty free-list? This company (brand, whatever) uses leather for its products……..

Could you please add a section for powder and liquid highlighters? I’m searching for a vegan liquid highlighter which could be a dupe of the Marc Jacobs Dew you drops which isn’t.
Thank you.
Carole

I would like to try their foundation but only if I know its cruelty free. Also, the bunny logo is stamped only in some products. Does that make any difference?

I seem to recall that you mentioned in a video that you had dry skin, do you have any foundation tips for someone with exeptionally dry skin? Even the tiniest layer on freshly scrubbed and moisturized and/or primed face makes my whole entire face look really flaky, even when my skin does not appear dry before application.

Thanks in advance 🙂

The best place to find most of them is on the brands own websites. I’m in the process of adding in links to this page. 🙂

Hi Cathryn,

With ingredients, there are lots that could come from animals, a plant, or be synthetic. The best bet is to ask the brand themselves about the ingredients of a specific formulation and/or shade. The more detailed you can be with your question, the easier it will be for them to tell you if that option is vegan or not. In the meantime, I do have a list of commonly used ingredients that may be from animals here – Animal Ingredient List. Hopefully this helps!

They have vegan options, but not all of their products are vegan.
