I don’t think nail polish is vegan because it is very bad for the environment, and, along with many other chemicals (like birth control and medications), it is extremely hazardous to our water and earth and the animals. If vegans don’t eat honey because it’s considered exploitative, then vegans shouldn’t use nail polish because it kills animals. It is also extremely toxic and is absorbed by one’s body and bloodstream.

what about China Glaze? I think they’re vegan. cruelty-free at least, but I’m kinda sure they’re vegan too 🙂 (my fav nail polish brand btw)

In reply to shannonmarie (rawdorable). Priti is currently being looked into about if they are actually vegan or not. Apparently, there are claims that they are repackaging non-vegan polish and selling it as vegan. I heard about this last month and am keeping an ear out for updates.
